Calgary’s population has grown dramatically over the last decade with over 1.07 million people; the majority of growth in this region is primarily attributed to Alberta’s energy sector. We have made great strides within this community by more than doubling our revenue in the last few years.
There are many fundraising events that occur in southern Alberta such as our Give'r for Liver Destination Marathon program, Spring for Daises in March and two Stroll for Livers, one in Calgary and one in Red Deer. The CLF was also selected as the 2011 Charity of Choice for this year's Scotiabank Charity Challenge Marathon, increasing our visibility in the community and the funds that will be raised to support liver research.
