Volunteer Opportunities
The Northern Alberta region is a part of the
Volunteer Share Program. This program involves the sharing of volunteers between organizations in order to confront shortages in volunteer resources, enhance recruitment and retention in the volunteer sector, provide rewarding and exciting opportunities to volunteers and build community connections. Chapter President
The Canadian Liver Foundation is looking for an experienced Edmonton-based individual to join their regional Board of Directors as President.
As the successful candidate, you will be a proven leader with demonstrated strategic planning and negotiating skills. You must have a strong business/partnership background as you will be the leader of a team tasked to increase awareness and revenue of the local chapter. A health background is a definite asset.

Health Promotion
We are looking for volunteers to assist with health related material. Volunteer must also be able to help contact various government agencies, groups and partners to increase our health promotion programming.

LIVERight Challenge
Volunteers are needed to help the day of the Challenge. Positions include:

- Children’s Area
- Route Marshalls

MASQUE GALA
Volunteers are needed to help the night of the event. The event is a catered fun casino held at the Muttart Conservatory. Positions include:
- Welcome Table

- Set-up and Take Down

Ongoing Volunteer Positions Available:
Position: Awareness Campaign volunteers
Description: Go out with our information board and information brochures. Times may vary throughout the year. Training will be provided.
Position: Office Assistance
Description: This position is required to assist with regular office duties including phone, filing, tax receipts, data entry and follow-up phone calls. Additional duties may include booking meetings and phoning participants.
Positions: Planning committee volunteers/Prep Volunteers/ On-site Volunteers
Description: There are several projects held throughout the year that require assistance. More information can be obtained through the Northern Alberta Chapter.
