Volunteer

We need YOU!

We are currently recruiting leadership volunteers for 2 special event committees; Stroll for Liver and What a Girl Wants.  If you enjoy organizing events, working with a team, thinking outside the box, creating extraordinary events and connecting with people....if you would like to utilize your marketing and fundraising skills..if you love to network and want to help CLF in your community, then call us!

WHY VOLUNTEER?

The Canadian Liver Foundation hopes to increase its volunteer base in Manitoba. As a non-profit organization dedicated to providing support and research to all affected by liver disease there is always a need for more volunteers and volunteers do help in so many ways.

Patient support and world renown research doesn't happen without the dedication of volunteers. Please consider giving of your time in one of the ways below to support the Canadian Liver Foundation-Manitoba Chapter:

Action and Advisory Board--Meetings approximately once a month. Needs 5 more people.

Stroll for Liver--A summer stroll is being planned. A date and location will be announced soon. A planning committee of 5-6 people is required as well as finding people who are willing to promote the stroll and participate.

What A Girl Wants--This event will take place again hopefully in November. Date and time to be announced but a planning committee needs to start meeting. We need 7-8 committee members.

World Hepatitis Day is July 28--In Winnipeg we are hoping to do a tag day from 11:30-1:30 in downtown Winnipeg on July 27. Volunteers are needed to tag people and hand out information about hepatitis. Information and training will be provided.
