Make Your Voice Heard

If you live in BC and are living with chronic hepatitis C or caring for someone with chronic hepatitis, we want to hear from you.

The new hepatitis C drug treatment called telaprevir (brand name Incivek®) is under review by BC Health Services to determine if and when it should qualify for reimbursement.  As part of this review, BC Health Services wants to hear from chronic hepatitis C patients, caregivers and health care professionals to get a sense of the personal impact of living with hepatitis C and what impact this treatment might make.

The Canadian Liver Foundation is preparing a submission on behalf hepatitis C patients in British Columbia and we invite you to be part of it by by sharing your comments and personal experiences.

Please note that the CLF does not recommend any particular drug for the treatment of hepatitis C. We believe that patients and their doctors should have access to a broad range of treatment options in order to ensure the best possible outcomes. It is up to the doctors to make individual treatment recommendations based on the needs of their patients. Our request for input for telaprevir is the result of a call for patient group input from BC Health Services.

If you have hepatitis hepatitis C or are caring for someone with hepatitis C, please click on the link below and fill out our survey. We will compile all feedback and include it in our submission to the BC government. Please note, only BC residents are eligible to participate.
