Just because you can’t see liver disease doesn’t mean it’s not there
Liver disease can sneak up on you. No one ever expects it will happen to them. And yet, someone you know may already be among the Canadians being diagnosed with liver disease every day across Canada. The good news is that many liver diseases can be prevented, managed or in some cases even cured but early identification is critical.
March is Liver Health Month and we want to take this opportunity to share facts about liver disease, highlight risk factors and encourage people to talk to their doctors about liver tests.
