TORONTO, May 8, 2018 – The Canadian Liver Foundation (CLF) is proud to announce their strategic partnership with Nutrafarms Inc.
Nutrafarms is Ontario’s leading provider of locally grown, natural, hormone and antibiotic-free beef, poultry, pork, and fish. Nutrafarms will be generously donating $100 back to the CLF for every food package sale stemming from CLF events or word of mouth referencing the CLF.
The CLF believes this likeminded partner who values healthy food choices can have a major impact on our local communities.
“Poor eating habits are a contributing factor to non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, Canada’s leading liver disease affecting over seven million people,” says Gary Fagan, President of the CLF. “Our collaboration with Nutrafarms, a company who cares about the nutritious value of their food, will help to demonstrate that maintaining a healthy diet is critical to the health of your liver.”
Nutrafarms will also be featured as an integral part of CLF events in Ontario throughout 2018. In June, the company will be bringing liver-friendly food trucks to the CLF STROLL for LIVER charity walk/run events in Toronto (June 2), Ottawa (June 9) and London (June 10). Additionally, Nutrafarms’ food reps will be on site to answer questions about organic meat and produce.
